Who We Are

With offices in Arizona and Florida, Slattery Petersen LLC is an active trial litigation boutique law firm that represents clients in all stages of litigation throughout Arizona, Florida and across the country. Above all, we are trial lawyers with experience trying highly technical cases with significant exposure to verdict on a national, regional, and local level. While we approach every case with an eye on trial, many cases do not get that far, which is why we evaluate cases and meet with clients early to best understand what a successful outcome means to our clients. We incorporate the legal skills and training typical of a large law firm with the dedication and service unique to a small boutique firm in order to provide our clients with exceptional value.

Experience

Slattery Petersen LLC partners GinaMarie Slattery, Libby Petersen and Brad Petersen all have significant trial practice as lead, first-chair trial attorneys. All three lawyers spent a considerable amount of time as partners with Snell & Wilmer L.L.P. before Slattery Petersen. Together, they spent a combined 45 years at Snell before starting at Slattery Petersen.

In 2015, Jill Covington joined Slattery Petersen LLC as a partner from another large law firm, Fennemore Craig, P.C., bringing with her a wealth of trial, litigation, and legal experience in the areas of medical negligence, board actions against health care professionals, healthcare law, managed care, and employment law.

In 2021, Dustin Lane and Vernon Marsh joined Slattery Petersen LLC as partners and opened the firm’s Miami, Florida office. Dustin and Vernon have worked at large, national law firms, where they represented international manufacturers and businesses in product liability and commercial litigation. Dustin also has corporate counsel experience as a former in-house counsel of Volkswagen Group of America and Fiat Chrysler (FCA US LLC).
